"Data Recovery Success: A Live RAID 5 Case Study"

In this article, we explore a live case study of RAID 5 data recovery using data recovery equipment. With a RAID 5 array consisting of 5 drives, one drive became offline, causing the partitions E and F to become corrupted and the important data stored there to become inaccessible.

Here are the steps we took to recover the data:

  1. We initiated "Data Extraction" and "New RAID Project."
  2. We opened the image files we had imaged earlier and added them to the RAID list.
  3. We clicked "Auto Analyse," and the utility automatically determined the block size, order, and delay.
  4. The data structure tree was generated, and we then scanned for lost partitions.
  5. Partitions E and F were found, and the data was successfully retrieved.
