"Data Recovery Success: A Live RAID 5 Case Study"
In this article, we explore a live case study of RAID 5 data recovery using data recovery equipment. With a RAID 5 array consisting of 5 drives, one drive became offline, causing the partitions E and F to become corrupted and the important data stored there to become inaccessible.
Here are the steps we took to recover the data:
- We initiated "Data Extraction" and "New RAID Project."
- We opened the image files we had imaged earlier and added them to the RAID list.
- We clicked "Auto Analyse," and the utility automatically determined the block size, order, and delay.
- The data structure tree was generated, and we then scanned for lost partitions.
- Partitions E and F were found, and the data was successfully retrieved.
